Quick Taste and Oak addition

After tasting the impact on the Syrah with oak, I decided today to go ahead and oak one of the Barbera's. The Barbera is still a bit harsher than I would like, even after MLF. One could argue that it will be a bit like perfume to mask something that is dirty, but if it makes it better tasting then perception is reality.
